Hey guys! This is week two of the GREAT Kids Snacks product. These delicious snacks will make you want to run out and purchase a box for yourself (they really are yummy for adults too!). You can read all about week one of GREAT Kids Snacks, seven snacks per week!
DAY 1: POWER ICE
What child doesn’t like a nice frozen popsicle? The best part about this one is it’s actually good for your child.
Why did she choose this one?: It was actually a very hot day and my little one asked for a popsicle. She had forgotten that I placed it in the freezer to get it ready for her snack during the day. She picked this because it was nice and cool, and it tasted really good! Not to mention, it was a popsicle.
What did she think?: She says it tasted like strawberry and was very juicy.
Some Facts about Power Ice: These amazing popsicles have frozen electrolytes, so they’re perfect for when children are not feeling well or need that extra boost when they are being active. They are also all natural. There’s nothing better than all natural, healthy goodness for your child no matter what mood they’re in or how they’re feeling. Power Ice is used in many different healthcare facilities to treat the cold & flu, cancer services, maternity ward for hydration and so much more.
Recommended by Mommy?: I was hesitant to give her a power popsicle, but it’s really not what you think it is. It seems like an energy popsicle but it’s not. I’m all for children having good healthy, all natural popsicles to hydrate themselves in hot weather or to take care of them when they’re not feeling too good! I highly recommend these.
DAY 2: SMART CANDY
Need a nice candy to give to your child while they’re curled up on the couch when it’s raining outside? SmartCandy is perfect for one of those days, or to enjoy on the go. They’re packaged perfectly for traveling or just lounging around the house. You can even take these packets to sports games to give your child the boost they need.
Why did she choose this one?: She thought it was gummies (she was right!), and she also thought it had oranges in it or tasted like oranges.
What did she think?: She loved these! We limit her gummy candy but these are perfect for children who just need a good delicious gummy to snack on that isn’t bad for her. According to her, they tasted like oranges and were very chewy.
Some Facts about SmartCandy: SmartCandy is filled with all natural ingredients, not to mention the awesome vitamins A, B and C without any high fructose corn syrup or trans fat. How awesome is that?!
Recommended by Mommy?: Finally, a candy that isn’t filled with artificial sweeteners and all that muck and guck that children’s candies truly shouldn’t be filled with. I do not like giving my daughter candy, but the fact that this stuff has great vitamins in it and not those extra ingredients we turn our noses up at makes it easier for me to hand her one of these little treat packages to enjoy.
DAY 3: TERRANUT
Tiny, but ideal for a small snack. This cute little item is a nut bar and is full of nutty flavor. Your child will love it. My daughter picked this out of the rest because she thought for sure it would taste good. It did!
Why did she choose this one?: She chose this because she thought it looked like it would taste delicious. (Oh, the minds of four year olds)
What did she think?: All I can really get out of her is that it tasted full of flavor and that it tasted like a candy bar. I guess I’ll trust what she has to say!
Some Facts about TerraNut: TerraNut is completely raw, vegan, gluten-free and soy free. They’re also Cold Pressed and super food snacks!
Recommended by Mommy?: Hey, I’m all for all natural, organic, super food snacks. This little pack is a great snack for my daughter to enjoy. In fact, if I bought a pack of them and had them in the house for the family to enjoy I wouldn’t feel bad about it. Just saying.
DAY 4: SMART CANDY
As you can see, this is exactly like day 2. Smart Candy is ideal for anyone who is looking for a great vitamin filled all natural snack for their child or themselves to get through the day!
Why did she choose this one?: Just like the first bag, she chose it because she thought there were dummies in the bag. Obviously they were filled with them.
What did she think?: Same thoughts as the other Smart Candy just a different flavor.
Some Facts about Smart Candy: SmartCandy is filled with all natural ingredients, not to mention the awesome vitamins A, B and C without any high fructose corn syrup or trans fat. How awesome is that?!
Recommended by Mommy?: As I said in Day 2, this is a great snack for my daughter. I’m not wild about giving her a gummy to snack on but these have a different purpose other than the ones that are nothing but sugar. These are awesome and I don’t mind her snacking occasionally on these healthy packs of gummies!
DAY 5: MATT’S MUNCHIES
Matt has some delicious munchies that are perfect for kids! Matt’s Munchies are full of delicious fruits that are ideal for wherever you go or whatever you’re doing. I enjoyed sharing this snack with my daughter since there were so many snack fruits in this package!
Why did she choose this one?: Would you believe she chose this one because it looked like a big fruit inside? She actually chose this because she thought it was filled with fruit. She was right!
What did she think?: These strips of fruit are perfect! She loved every piece and thought they were very delicious. It’s hard to get her to eat different types of fruits, but she couldn’t get enough of these ones. In fact, the entire package was empty before I even had a chance to try one.
Some Facts about Matt’s Munchies: As you can see from the other companies on this list, this one is organic as well. Nutritious, healthy, Non-GMO certified, Gluten-Free. Matt’s Munchies are perfect for munching on, no matter what age you are really.
Recommended by Mommy?: If you like snacks that are healthy and full of delicious fruit servings, you will love this for yourself or your child. I recommend them!
